About Me

My name is Liz Thuo. Born and raised in Kenya. Moved to Canada when I was 19 years old to pursue higher studies. By God’s grace I was able to obtain my MBA degree (bucket-list item). I’m married to a wonderful husband who loves me far beyond my flaws – and they are many!  I absolutely love my family and would go to the ends of the earth for them. I’m a total mama’s girl; she’s bae. For work I’m a bit of a Jill-of-all-trades. I love to learn new things and as such I have a lot of self-taught skills. I would say I’m an introvert (some will laugh at this). Task-oriented to a fault. Love to travel. Love planes and can study them for hours. Love to write. Love photography. Love to research various things. Love planning events – but incidentally not social ones… only corporate.  I love nature, especially trees and mountains. I will choose countryside over city living any day of the week. I’m not really a fan of music … unless it’s gospel music. I’m deathly afraid of dogs (I know, shameful), but strangely, I’m ok with spiders and other bugs  (did I redeem myself?)
One of my life’s most difficult moments was when we lost my dad.

My Passion

I love to learn. I am very curious and highly inquisitive. Any new knowledge or revelation I gain is met with inconceivable excitement. My heart literally soars within me when I encounter a new truth; an invaluable gem that I can use to improve my life and those in my circle of influence.

My passion for learning is second only to my desire to help people in whichever capacity. A day that sees God use me as His hands and feet extended is a most fulfilling day. I love to be used of God to be an answer to someone’s sincere prayer, be it financially, in service, or to provide a timely word of encouragement.

My Purpose

I exist to bring glory and honor to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My goal is to have my life and actions be a lighthouse that points others to salvation in Jesus Christ. I have an insatiable desire to discover the many facets of my Lord, my King, and my Daddy! I love to look out for God everywhere and in all things. And it is absolutely beautiful to see all the ways He chooses to reveal Himself to mankind.

I have a life-verse. The one truth that I draw upon to steer me through this temporary life on earth is “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.” (Matthew 6:33)

I invite you to join me as I journey through this exciting ride that is my life with, and in Christ. It is my hope that we will discover more about God together and spur one another on to living for the unseen; not the seen.
